Ep. 19 - Soren Thompson

Welcome to It’s Not What You Think – Episode 19 recorded on July 2, 2021.

My guest today is Soren Thompson an American two-time Olympic fencer.

He represented the United States in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, and then 8 years later – after overcoming severe injury - he fenced again in the 2012 Olympics in London.  Soren won a gold medal at the 2012 World Fencing Championships, and too many other medals and world championships to list here.

He was inducted into the USA Fencing Hall of Fame in 2018 and was listed at #61 in the book 100 of the Best Fencers of All Time.

It was a lot of fun speaking with him and learning about his mindset while fencing and in daily life.  I hope you are inspired and benefit too.
